How Often Do You Talk To God  

I have learned that we can talk to God as a friend in our prayer time. It is usually done in our prayer closet where nobody can disturb us. You can thank Him for who He is and just tell Him what you want to tell Him. It is always a sweet experience and a comforting experience just to spend time in talking to God. I don't know if you have already put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior because it's the start of a sweet communication through prayer with God. Have a blessed day.

i like to think as god like a shadow. he's not my shadow and i'm not limiting him to that, but he never leaves me.

I talk to him in those moments i recall he is there, in the moments i wish i could feel his presence more, and in those moments when he gently tapps my shoulder and makes me realise he's there.

Some people find this like big brother watching, i find it comforting.

Both responses I read are good. Can I assume that you have accepted Jesus as your Savior? I talk to God all day long. Sometimes it is focused on a certain topic, sometimes it is generic chat, sometimes it is worship. I love listening to worship music. I frequently thank Him for the life He has given me or something as simple as helping me find something simple, i.e. keys. I ask Him to bless journeys and keep us safe. Basically any event in life, health, etc.

hio lillybelle I just talk to him like I would to you with respect and dignity and tell him my problems and ask his blessings.sometimes I talk to him like I used to talk to my grandpa whom I loved so much. I would ask his forgiveness for not trusting him and just tell him how I feel. I do not think there's any set number of times as this is a personal thing between you and your maker.Lilly however you do it God will not disapprove and that's all that counts.Just feel free to be yourself.

It's just okay to talk to him whenever you want to, I do that everyday when I have some questions in mind that I want to ask him I just go for it. When I am riding a train I talk to him and ask him to guide and protect me at all times. Also when I feel fear and hopelessness inside me I talk to him and ask for help to give me the strength to face whatever there is that I need to face. I pray before I go to sleep to and when I go to the church. When you walk with God you will not be scared of anything that may happen because you know that he will keep you safe. When you are worried with troubles just pray to him, I do that when I feel afraid sometimes and I realize why should I be afraid when I am not alone and I know that I'm with him. We know that God won't give us a challenge that we cannot face, he gives it on purpose to let us know that he will not put us into danger and that he will take care of us for the rest of our lives.

I always talk to God. Pray every time, no time and , and no day. we talk or pray to god every time, Actually we will pray to god every evening with full family. and also I only the morning a small pray to god is very important. then when we are in a difficult condition we will pray to god and we will go to church for pray and also attending mass .

Talking to God is so simple. God is like human though He is not! We can talk to Him like human. You can talk to Him while you are working, sitting, traveling or before you to go to bed and sleep. It does not need for you to open your mouth and talk to Him though we can do that when we are alone with Him... but we can also talk to Him through our minds and our hearts. God can see and read of what is in our minds and what is in our hearts because He is an all knowing God, all Omnipotent God and Omniscient God.

God is everywhere. in nature, in our neighbors, in our house. He is the air we breathe, the water we drink and the earth that shelter us..
considering all the circumstance, which i believe is true, we should talk to him, everywhere, anywhere and anytime..
i talk to HIM every time i wake up, every time i'm start working and after i finish such, no matter how it ended up. i talk to him to give thanks and to share my experiences. even when i am inside a car, a jeepney, a taxi, a tricycle, a talk to him. everytime i realize how good the day was.
so every second and every minute of the day we should talk to God. :)

Honestly, I'm a type of person who is not fan of going to church every sunday...But IM a BELIEVER, I do believe in GOD more than a 100%..

I often talk to Him in casual, conversational way like I would a friend or my parents. Sometimes, I forget to formally pray before meals or before I sleep at night, but I do talk to Him in my mind about even the most mundane things. Like, when I have a problem to tackle, I usually ask for His help. Or when I'm happy about something, I tell Him. When I'm alone, I speak aloud my thoughts to Him, but usually, when I'm with somebody or with a crowd, I speak to Him in my mind.

You don't really have to couch your words such that it comes off as a good formal prayer. Talk to Him like you would a human friend. I don't even have to close my eyes when I do these mini-conversations with Him. Just think of the things You want to say to Him and He will hear you. Sometimes, I don't even think of the words. I just tell Him, "Lord, you know how I feel" - This I usually do in times of extreme loneliness or sorrow. I can't describe it to Him, but I trust Him that He knows how I feel. And, most of the time, the feeling gets better.

Sometimes, also, I talk to Him through singing. I do this especially when I feel extremely happy.
