Jewelry! Which Looks More Expensive to You, Silver or Gold Jewelry??

Gold jewelry is more expensive than silver. But I prefer the look of silver so I often go for white gold if I'm buying nice jewelry. It has a look like silver but better quality. Platinum is the most expensive tho I think...

I think gold jewelry is much more expensive than silver jewelry. There is 9 carrot gold which is quite pricey. There is also 18 carrot gold which is much more expensive. There is white gold which is very pricey indeed. I think gold looks classy. I like to wear 9 carrot gold earrings because then I don't have an itching problem and irritation. I like silver jewelry and it is cheaper to buy than gold. It is called sterling silver. When I was younger I liked to wear silver jewelry because it was stylish and affordable. I used to wear jewelry but these days I usually just wear my watch. My baby girl would try to touch and pull at any jewelry I am wearing.

i tend to like silver better than gold because it looks more impressive, you can get bigger pieces with not that much money laidout.

Of the three precious metals i.e. Silver Gold and Platinum Gold is the most stable chemically. It is alo the metal with the most attractive shine. Platinum ia more expensive and harder but its shine is not attractive. One must artificially take a liking for Platinum. Thus obviously Gold looks really really expensive and attractive.

Gold jewelry has its own charm, in my family my wife, my daughter in law wear jewelry of gold only, but siver jewelry like anklets they wear on feet, they are all real stuff not plated.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor

I'm into silvers, but when i feel like classy i would go for gold.

Gold jewelry appears to be more expensive than silver. But as for preference, I like wearing silver accessories more. It's not too flashy on the eyes and besides I tend to have some allergic reaction to gold. So I go for silver jewelry.

well gold is more expensive, but not always nicer. i only like to wear stuff that is stamped 375, or for silver 925. i only got gold rings thou, and silver in my necklaces. i do have a nice gold and silver necklace i've had for 10 yrs, it's not real i don't think but it worn real well.

I prefer to wear accessories instead of jewelry which are silver, gold or platinum, however last december my boyfriend gave me a gold ring and I like it very much so this year we are getting engaged and I am again getting a gold ring so I think I will opt for the gold now.

Gold looks more expensive to me. Although i prefer to wear silver if ever i had to. I don't really wear any jewelry or bling bling except my silver watch.

Golds comes to be more expensive,as we all know these is one of the most valuable minerals practically use as the original money the is, use and was considered to be as the real currency .Another thing is that, some pawnshops does not accept silvers to be pawned, although silvers to looks good in fashion as in jewels,most of the people use to prefers gold as the more expensive one.

For me, I think the gold jewelry looks more expensive than silver. I want to wear gold because aside from it looks better on me, I am also allergic to silver jewelry, it makes me itch. I dont know why.
