once again I can not locate my drummer he can't give me an excuse that he can't call cause i gave him a cellphone and he does get load allowance from the band yeah he's working and married but that's no excuse to be away from the band for almost a month we'e worried about him he's busy playing in facebook argh curse facebook! that site destroys lives through their addictive games i know cause i was addicted to mafiawars before and farmville but not anymore! i have freed myself from the shackles of the games on that sinister place now if only he'd learn how to let go of those games anyone got a spare drummer acidradio could borrow for june 18?

you should replace that drummer. If he is serious about your band, he should act professionally in managing his time. your band wll be in danger. attitude is very important in a band with a goal to succeed. I have many friends in the music industry cause I was working as a concert coordinator before. Speaking of drummer, there was one time that we organized a mini concert because they wanted some exposure. The so called drummer committed to be incharged in drumset and instrument rental for that day. He ssured me everything was oakey. Would you believe, everything was set up that day except for the drumset? where is that stupid drummer, he didn't show up in the expense of people that were around. When I called the owner of the drumset, he didn't have any arrangement with the drummer. So to make the story short, the concert was cancelled on that very day.

How did you manage so long without him? A month is too long a period to do without a member in the band. Anyway why do you generalise and say 'unpredictable type of band members ever' You mean to say all drummers are busy playing games in Face Book?

Or could it just be drummers are not noticed or not appreciated that they do their job half heartedly and disappear as you have pointed out?

I could pass this on e to the the one in my profile but I know there will be some questions like 'what's it worth? travelling expenses etc' How can you, as a band, be ready to play a gig if you don't get together and practice once in a while, if not on a regular basis? Ever thought of replacing him?

hi chipesterkhan oh my thats really something a whole month. My adult son of 51 is totally addicted to toontown do not ask me why, I just do not get it. but a drummer, I thought most musicians are sort of addicted to their own bands but guess not. If I see a spare drummer running around here I will head him or her your way, not that one is likely to pop in here unless maybe they are a little out of it? no just being silly. sorry to hear he has been gone that long. seems rude for him not to check in with the band though.

Argh, I remember once when we were supposed to go into battle once. We rehearsed for days just for a couple of songs and we were pretty confident we could get the trophy. the night before the battle, the other guys had a couple of drinks and headed home. What we didn't know is that the drummer had more drinks in his house. the next morning, he wasn't feeling good because he's hung over so he went for a swim in the public pool. But on the way he bumped into friends and got more drinks. We didn't go to the battle because of his absence. He did not go to my house for a month because of shame. and the other members almost cursed him for the chance that was wasted.
