I am really having a hard time deciding what to give my husband for tomorrow's father's day. I don't want to give shirts or polos because he has plenty of clothes already. He wanted to have a psp but due to budget constraints, I can not give him that. Any suggestion what to give our husband. I would appreciate any wife here in mylot who can share her last year's gift to his husband. What is it? Did he like it? I am open to any suggestion and would probably just modify whatever you will suggest to fit our budget. I will be waiting for your numerous suggestions. Thanks a lot.

To be hones I don't really understand the question - it is FATHER'S DAY not [b]HUSBAND'S DAY[/b, I do not buy my husband a present or a card. I give my one child who is at home a little money (around £5) to buy a card and gift for his dad, the married one's will send their own. To even consider buying something as expensive as a PSP seems to me pure stupidity, these 'days' have become so commercial it is awful. I hate seeing cards 'To my husband on FAther's Day' - HE'S NOT YOUR FATHER!!! It is supposed to be a day for kids to show their dad's how much they love him and to say a little thank you for all thet tey've done for them

Pissed off huh? He is not my father but he's the father of my son. My son is two years old and he cannot simply decide on that matter, right? I want to give him a gift not because he is a good husband but instead he is a good father to my son. Is it not possible to thank you husband for being a good father to you kids? Because if I can appreciate my husband being a good partner, I can appreciate as well good father to my son. Hope this clarify my concern.

Hey aileen! I gave my boyfriend a gift card to Kohl's Department Store. We don't have any kids together, but I thought I would give him a gift anyway since he is my "babies" (cats "Step-Daddy! (And boy is he thrilled) But, since he changes the litter box that earned him a gift! So, he picked out a Nike Tee Shirt! He has lots of shirts too, but this way he got what he wanted himself. Men are so hard to buy for. Why don't you give him a gift card to a store he likes to shop in like Best Buy or whatever and let him decide! And then I make him a "special dinner" of his choice! He wants fresh lobsters, which I can cook, but neither one of us wants to clean them so that's out!

well, the gift should come from the kids. this year my hubby got a germany flag because of the soccer world cup. i seriously cannot remember what he got last year. i dont think the gift has to cost a lot, just come from the heart. what about flowers?

Why would that be a hard decision to make. Anything you will give him, he should be happy, and glad that you take time to pick such precious gift for him. He is a lucky guy of the whole world. Although I am not married yet, last year I gave my father a new GPS system, since he doesn't have much sense of direction. So, a GPS should be right for him. It won't cost that much, a little above $150, I bought it from Best Buy.
