gas or charcoal?

When i was a child, all i knew about grilling was charcoal. My father was the grill master of the charcoal grill. Or so he believed! When i met my late husband years later, his family grilled with the gas grill. Of course we had to have one too. If i have the choice, I prefer the charcoal grill. It just brings out the flavor of what you are grilling more.

I prefer charcoal broiled burgers.. it has that distinct resin flavor.. gas broiling is more hazardous to health because it methane burned directly in the flame admixed with your meat, thus you expect more carbon on your food which may be carcinogenic (causing cancer) to you.

charcoal makes the best tasting burgers or any other food. I haven't had any food off of a gas grill in years. There is just something about charcoal that makes the food delicious. My husband and I are grilling now.:)

i always use gas due to the convenience... but i do look forward to those occasional times when i use charcoal grills.it gives the burgers a nice taste in it

Charcoal grilling for sure. But nowadays, who have the time to actually prepare a charcoal prepared meals. Is it normally, gas, cook, eat and do whatever they need to do.
