Who the hell can afford a cruise these days?!! Maybe twenty years ago but nowadays by the time you're in your late 50's (if you're the typical person who has handled money responsibly) you're doing well to keep a roof over your head and food in your stomach. There's nothing left over for luxuries.

I would love to go on a cruise! I have never been on one, and I think it would be a lot of fun, like an island on water. I can't believe how many activities they can put on a cruise ship..that just amazes me! I would love to go on a cruise now, as well as in my 50's!

I have always wanted to go on a cruise,so when the children have all grown up that is the one thing that i am going to do.I also get junk mail like 50 plus clothes,lol i am not 40 until next year,so i think it is funny.I find that nowadays there are alot more people getting junk mail that they are not aswell as never will be interested in.

I know that has to be some sort of age-ism! I don't know why cruises are associated with 'older' people because I went on a cruie for my honeymoon when I was 21 years old and there were an awful lot of people of a similar age to me on te ship too. I tell you something else. to go off to all these different countries and all the excursions you have to be pretty damned fit too. Like I said I was 21 and after all the sight seeing I did I needed another holiday to recover. I was seriously knackered.
