Hello, Well i think that even pace bowlers can also turn the game .We cannot mention that only spinners turn around the game every time.The bowlers who play with intelligence and pitching the ball in right lines are able to produce a magic in any match.In test cricket, we would find that both pace bowlers and spin bowlers will be bowling at good lines .The bowlers are able to take wickets.It doesn't matter about pace or spin, it always matters how you contribute for your team.

Yes, spinners are valuable commodities. The nineties ever since Warne, Murali and Kumble emerged have been proof of that. Unfortunately, the follow up acts to all these three have just not been good enough. Bhajji, Mendis and McGill all have shown in bits and pieces that they can be there, but their inconsistency has let them down. Of the current lot, only Greame Swann seems to be a match winning spinner. Cheers! Ram

Spinners definitely play an important role in bowling attack, specially when playing in the subcontinent pitches. Bowlers like shane warne, murlidharan and anil kumble have proved this many times.Harbhajan is also a match winning bowler but it's been a long time i saw his lethal bowling performance......

ya thats right, spinners sometime turn the match around. its because many batsman try to score on spinners more and fall in the trap. or in the hurry of getting runs they loss the wickets.

Well in my view any good bowler can turn the match spinner or fast bowlers, nowadays lot of cricket is played in almost all cricket playing nations so pitches become dry and slow, hence helpful for spinners,the grounds where major tournaments are played are the ones which are tried already in domestic tournaments, so no wonder spinners get more help in major matches, even a good fast bowler can change the match by varying his deliveries anytime.
