I wonder about some people, why is it that they laugh behind me when they saw my tearin eyes once i accidentally saw people hurt their animals, specially their dogs. I'm totally shocked when a man tied up his dog and would like to kill it because they are a fan of dog meat. Its hurt me too bad. I talked to the man but he refused, and i totally cried out loud.

Interesting. Perhaps it is because we all got conditioned since childhood in different environments. I recall an idea mentioned about the differences of American and the North Vietnamese soldiers. As young children, Americans go to the carnival and eat cotton candy; it seems the Vietnamese children watch their elders slaughter animals. As we know, many soldiers on one side suffered deep psychological trauma - it was not the Vietnamese. In the battle field of life it seems those who are used to the unpleasant side of life will have an edge. Perhaps a good idea is to stay away from what puts us down while we slowly try to get used to things that we may need to get used to - such as "cruel" people It's easier said than done I know. But a little step at a time should go a long way. There's a saying: "If the waters too cold, splash a little on self ... then a little more - soon it's not that bad ..." What do you think?
