"girls" night out.

As many of u know i hardly ever go anywhere. Friday night 5 of of us "girls" from church are going to Princeton, KY. TO HEAR A GOSPEL GROUP tHAT they all have heard but me. I'm really looking forward to it & think it's very nice that they have ask me to go. The name of the group is the 'Inspirations'. Have any of u heard of them? they are out of one of the carolina's, don't remember if they said north or south. I just hope nothing happens to keep me from going. This heat is really bothering my arthritus so please keep your fingers crossed that i get to go. o.k.?? I hope u appreciate the girls staement. I am next to the youngest & i'm 67 so know it's going to be a wild night out, lol.

ANTIQUELADY, that is nice. I do hope you get to enjoy this Friday night out with the girl gang. Inspirations might inspire you to get out more, every Friday I hope, and get those arthritis out of the system.

Thanks for responding. They are not a local group BUT I LOVE MUSIC & HAVE ALWAYS LOVED GOSPEL SINCE I WAS A CHILD & SANG W/MY BIGMAMA [grandmother]. I wish something would make this arthritus go away. It's not very pleasant company. Happy days to u.

I am so happy for you. This will be lots of fun....I have arthritus too, not as bad as yours, what I also have are headaches and somehting that I have discovered is that when I get away from home I feel better..So "put on the big girl panties" and GO!!!!!!! Maybe just the GOING will make you feel better!!!

gOOD MORNING, THANKS for your response. Think i'm going to have to buy me a new pair about worn these out, lol. I know i will enjoy. I have just stayed home sooo much it's just easier to be here. Going to the grocery is a major ordeal for me, lol. Happy thurs. to u.

I know exactly what you mean!! Since I haven't been working if I can stay home I will stay home even to having my kids pick stuff up for me. I don't have the problems health wise that you have, I was gone so much when I was working that I just want to stay home. It has been almost a year and I am just getting 'snuggled' in deeper and deeper!!!!
They are making everything improved and stronger and more energetic now, maybe you can find a new pair of them "big girl panties" in that department!!! I would try in red or purple for "enjoying life!" have a nice day......

This sounds like fun antique...I am not quite sure where you are from by I know that it is suppose to be a bit cooler where I am from and even have potential rain so maybe it will be the same in your area and it will allow you to get out and have your wild night without much pain.
I have never heard of this group but am hoping they are a good group that way you can have a great time on you girls night out

UGH...that is too hot! I live in Pa and our highs have been high 80's low 90's and that is too miserably hot for me so I couldn't even do any 100's. We have been real short on rain here as well and it has the grass fried which is nice in some because that means we don't have to cut the grass as much but it also means we suffer because we don't get very much cooling relief from the rain =) Have a great Thursday as well!!!

Have fun! Go crazy! Who said 67 year olds can't have fun? Go to a club after hearing the gospel group. You never know what will happen!

There are so many great gospel groups to listen to. I am glad you are going on this little adventure. Is it the heat that is hurting your arthritis or the air conditioning that the rest of your body must have to deal with it. At any rate, go, enjoy, be blessed and sing along.

It's good that your getting out with a group of gals to go listen to some gospel music. I don't get to get out any more, so I don't know how that feels. I'm ok with that. I hope your having the time of your life. I don't know how the weather is where your at, but it's a lot cooler thanks to a storm that didn't do anything came through earlier. Mine only acts up right before it rains or gets cold. The heat actually feels good. I just wish the humidity wasn't so bad.

Thanks for responding. I'm sorry u don't feel like getting out. I get out very little myself but think it did me good to go last night. We had a good time.I have been tired today but it was worth it. It's hotter than hadez here. We have really had a long spell of really hot weather. We have alot of humdidity here to. I really think the heat bothers mine worse than the cold. I may change that tune this winter, lol.I know what u mean about before it rains, that's the pits.

Wow! This sounds great. I still love a girls' night out. I am sorry that the heat is bothering your arthritis. I guess that I am so lucky not to have any aches and pains yet. I really should not moan so much about my boss as I should be retired but cannot afford to do so yet

We did have a good time , jen & we did behave ourselves, lol. Anniefannie didn't go, it was some ladies at church that ask me to go. I would have loved it if ann had gone. Would have loved for u to have gone w/us. i FEEL LIKE U & ANN WOULD HAVE LIVENED uP THE PARTY.

It is okay if you go out with your friends. It is much secure but why don't you develop a habit of not going out at all during night. I think you know the disadvantages of being out at late night. It could be better if you go during day time.

Wow....sounds like fun! It's good that you are getting out and about! And what a lovely way to do it. I have had tons of company but today my two sister were here and we went out to our camper and floated in the pool most of the afternoon..just being lazy. It was so much fun! I hope you feel well enough to go! I'll cross my fingers for you!

yes thats great. no matter what you think, we can have a lot of raunchy fun or whatever at our age... even with singing songs together and maybe just dancing. if i could still breath, i can sometimes have fun just jumping around with friends. im sure rooting for you to get to go have fun. @ANTIQUELADY (36440)

Wowwwwww, Anti, now that's what I call a girls night out. I pray that all goes well and you will be able to attend. I am happy for you, and I really think it is wonderful that they thought enough to ask a younster like yourself to go. Now don't you girl stay out too late, but have a good time in the name of the Lord. Please let me hear how it all turned out.
When I get a pic of that great grand of mine, I will let you see him. I had him to today, but he slept the whole time.
