Elvis Presley Running For Governor Of Arkansas

Just when you think politics can't get any weirder. Yep, you read that right. Elvis Presley is officially running for governor. Wonder how many name recognition votes that he picks up. Among his qualifications is being an actual Elvis Presley impersonator. I wonder if he won the position. There are a lot of actor-politicians in our country. So far, they are doing well

Reminds me of Al Lewis, who played "Grandpa" in The Munsters that was done some time in the middle of the previous century. Several times, he ran for Governor of New York State for the Green party. One time, he actually wanted the voting ballots to say, "Grandpa Al Lewis" so he could use his fame as Grandpa Munster to try to win an election, but it seemed that they would not let him.
