WTF... it has been a while since I went to the bank to deposit coins. And the fees they levy is... whoo~~! Steep!! No longer are they charging a fee for the amount deposited. They are now charging by the number of pieces of coins deposited. And they would not take your coins if they are not sorted! Duh~~~! If I have to sort it so that you can use the machine to count them, then why the hell am I still being charge a fee for? TO use the machine? TO the tune of $1.50 per 100 pieces of coins counted? Look at it this way, if I were to have pennies that I have to deposit, I'd be charge $1.50 to deposit $1 worth of coins. Does that make any sense? And what is this about having to sort the coins first? HELLO... I am being charged a fee here. Why do I still have to do the job for the bank to sort them coins out before I bring it into the bank? Sheez~~~!

That is the reason why I have stopped depositing coins with the bank. It is just not worth it. They used to provide such service for free and now, they charge for everything that they possibly can.

yes, that is the sole reason why i stopped keeping change. you know how we were taught to keep our change as a form of savings since young. i used to keep my spare change in a coin bank and deposit them when there is a fair bit. since they started charging i decided to stop doing that. i know it takes more time to have coins deposited but to charge this much is too much for me to stomach. one suggestion is to find a stall operator you are familiar with. since they are charged a fee to change dollar notes to coins, they'll be more than happy to change with you. that was what i did with my coins the last time.
