Okay I was at two barbecues over the weekend, did not notice that the mosquitoes were biting me, even though other people were commenting on them. I have a ton of bites on the tops of my feet that are itching me like mad. I have put some benadryl cream on them, but still itching. Anyone have any at home remedies that work well to take the itching away, let me know asap, thanks.

I wrote an article on itch cream just the other day. There is a Japanese brand called Mopiko. It works wonders, but I don't know if it is available in the West. I don't have any home remedies though, but if you want to get the Mopiko, I can mail one to you. It works! My friend who has migrated to NZ swears by it and when I sent a package to her recently, she asked me to insert a few tubes of Mopiko. You may want to search one at your local Asian store.

Thank you for this, I do have a store that sells Asian products at it, I can check there.
If not a neighbor tonight told me about this spray stuff he has used so I was going to try that also.

I've read lots of remedies and none have worked. I know they say not to, but I always just scratch the bites open and sometimes even give the bite a squeeze to help the poisons come out. This makes it stop itching pretty quick but leaves a mark for months or longer!

Thanks Katsmeow I would not care at all about the spots just want the itch to go away. It is driving me crazy. I wore socks all day today even though it was 90 degrees just so I would not itch at them the whole day.
I might use your method, spots or not don't care at this point.

Hi, auroastorm. This is what I hate and despise the most about the summer time!! These pesky mosquitoes!
I have heard that keeping a cool cloth over the itch will help lessen it some. In the meantime, you can invest in a bug spray to keep these insects and other pests away from you. You can visit this website: www.buggspray.com

Yeah i know of one way, try to moisten the affected area with water. After you do that add just a small amount of salt to the bite. This should quickly take the itch away from the bite.I heard that deodorant works just the same way and will relive the itchiness quickly.
