Did you have any of the recalled eggs?

I have never had any problems with the eggs that I get from the store. Terrible when people get the bad ones. $-MrDollars-$

I haven't bought eggs since last November. I now have my own chickens so I know what I'm eating. Much better and healthier for me all around (plus chickens are very entertaining!).

I have heard that there has been a recall on eggs, but I do not really know any of the details. I have been very busy the past couple of days, and I have not had time to watch the news and have not heard anything on the radio about it. I did do a search on the recall, and from what little I found on it, I do not think that we have any of the recalled eggs. I know that there have been several states that are included in the recall, and several brands of eggs that are involved. Right now we have store-brand eggs, but I am not sure who their suppliers are. When I searched for the store-brand and recall, it did not turn up any results. Still, I will make sure to thoroughly cook the eggs and not leave any runny yolks, which I don't like anyway, and that should kill any bacteria just in case.

We haven't bought eggs in at least a month or two, because they tend to last a while in our house. One of my family members reminded me yesterday to not touch the eggs in the fridge as they might have been tainted with and are part of the recall. We just need to go back to the store soon and return them. It's somewhat of a bummer because sometimes eggs are one of the best things to eat for breakfast or dinner. I fixed scrambled eggs lately mixed in with onions, cilantro, and other things lately and haven't felt ill. Granted, if there is a recall...you don't want to REALLY take the chance I suppose? Hope this is all over soon!
