I am starting to target the discussions that haven't been answered yet.

It's always a good idea to look through the 'no responses' list. Many have no responses for good reason, of course (and some because they are guideline violations and will eventually be removed). To contact MyLot admin, use the Contact link at the bottom of every page. The very last option in the drop-down list is 'Other'. Use that if you want to send a specific message BUT be aware that MyLot very often do not respond if your question is answered somewhere in the Terms, FAQs or Guidelines and repeated asking of the same question will do you no good. Their policy of 'minimal communication' is something which many MyLot users have come to accept!

I so this quite often because I am finding that more and more members are drowning the tabs with 5 - 10 discussion back to back which are pushing some great discussion to the no response area as members are not quite easily able to find them. I have located some great discussions this way.

I think that's a good idea to target discussions that haven't had a response yet. In fact, that was what I did when I first started on myLot, and it is also one of the easy ways how one could earn best responses (because you have no or less responses to compete with for the BR). But the best thing is that you will be helping the discussion starter to generate a discussion. Anyway, to send a private message to another myLot member, just go to the " Messages" tab and from the drop-down menu choose "Compose". And then just type your message away, but make sure you know specifically which member you are sending the private message to. i also have this habit sometimes,i always wanted to be the first one to respond to some topics that are not that interesting to most people. some mylotters do have zero responses which can feel bad for them sometimes.that's why i do come and see if there are topics that are easy to respond with. butit also depends on my mood that time. sometimes,i just don't want others to feel they have done a topic which no one ever dares to respond to.it feels bad sometimes to have no response topics.i have encountered such before,that's why i seldom have new topics myself also.and for me,it is still enjoyable to respond to others than me the one who'll start the topic. well,it's nice to know that there are some people who always see to it that they gone through those no response section.it's like helping the people who are in need.
