Black Hawks Hjalmarsson illegally hit Sabres Jason Pominiville and got only two games. He will be back on the ice Just in time to meet, The Sabres! The Sabres have already said they are coming after him! Question . Do you think the suspension wasn't long enough? Or do you think the NHL Wants the players to handle it? Me? I love revenge.I think a good fight is better than Any suspension! I know many a Hawk and Sabres fan are extra excited to see the game Saturday!

I'm sure that any non-hockey fan reading your discussion and my response would never get this revenge concept. And they will say that this is the reason why fighting in hockey should be ban.
For me, except for a few unfortunate instances where players brought the fighting to a dangerous level, I think the measured revenge concept in players is exciting. I think it raises up the stakes of the games. And it also makes it exciting for fans.
I can't really say if the two days is enough. Specially with the same two days handed out to Wisniewski for just a dirty finger.

I have stopped trying to explain how a good fight is needed at times in a hockey game. And I agree this drama has made a early regular season game exciting! As for Wisniewski, why didn't he fight Avery? He wuldn't have gotten any games off and I assume he would have felt better . Plus he wuld get Avery off the ice for 5 minutes!
