I use my laptop plugged in without the battery. I don't use my battery except if I take it with me outside or during brownouts. If I did not charge it for a month or two, will my battery life be reduced?

Dear friend, I feel not using battery it may get less charged as the function of battery is not got heated. Moreover over I it may get damaged in long use. Usually batteries may not work well during cold. I feel batteries need a certain heat to maintain it longevity.

I don't know about using plug in without the battery. But when you use plug in with the battery still intact it will reduce the battery function. I am now asking a different thing. My battery charger has been broken for almost two months now. I could not use my laptop since the battery is very low. When I have money to buy a new charger, will it damage my battery for not being used for a long time?

The recommendation for getting the best out of a Lithium Ion battery is that it should not be kept at full charge all the time but should be discharged completely and recharged about once every month.
