Substitute of Discovery Channel?

Is there any channel that can really substitute Discovery Channel. You get to watch a lot of knowledge worthy shows on almost all the subject exist in the world, that one can easily stick to it hour after hour. It is my favorite channel. I don't think any other channel can replace it. Don't you think no channel can substitute Discovery Channel?

Well, I don't have a TV so it has been a while since I saw the discovery channel. What I have found is a good website called Documentary Heaven which lists all kinds of documentaries that are available on line. They don't host the programmes, just provide the links. There's some really good stuff on their. I watched on recently about the Oppenheimer Diamond Cartel and that was a real eye-opener!
