My complain is nothing new and not the first. Recently, I was made to wait for 20 minutes to see the doctor while he was having his dinner. I mean, sure, docs need a break but surely not during the operating hours of the clinic! More recently, I had a chipped tooth that happened during breakfast. I rushed to the dentist only to be told that I cant see the dentist that day and an appointment must be made 1 week in advance. What the he11?? When the clinic states that the opening hours are at 8.30, it does not mean that the dentist will be in at 8.30. That is the time when staff opens the clinic, check to see if there are any patients and only then call on the dentists to come. This implies that their time is more valuable than ours and borders on selfishness! This discourteous behaviour must stop!

Uh,that means they don't money huh? That's the only time they will call the doctor when the staffs sees that there are patients in line. Wow,i just can't imagine what the doctor is doing by that time then, watching his favorite movie while waiting for his staff to call? (cr*p) If that is the case,go to the nearest hospital then where dental services is available. Have a great weekend

For convenience sake, I go to this clinic because it is walking distance. The nearest hospital requires a bus ride and a train ride which takes around 45 min. Of course I can take a cab but then, why should I?? The docs should be more professional in their services

Hi. d_e_v81. I think that it was very unethical for you to have to wait until the doctor finished eating dinner. So you just walked right in without having an appointment on that day? I don't understand why the dentist could not see you when you came into the dentist office. Your need was considered to be an emergency. Dentists always assist in these kind of needs too. I think that is very rude of how you had to wait to be seen by your dentist for a chipped tooth. My husband was put off by an Oral Surgeon that he went to once. He needed to go back and get the other tooth removed, that was supposed to be taken out of his mouth in the first place, by him anyway. The Oral Surgeon overlooked this tooth. Well, my husband missed an appointment without calling in and cancelling. And the surgeon held him responsible for this too. So, he said that he would not be able to extract my husband's teeth. My husband was in so much of pain. I mean so much of pain! So, I ended up looking through the telephone book, and I found another dentist that could take his tooth out of his mouth. I was so relieved when I discovered this other dentist! I am sorry that your dentist took you through so much of channels. I think that you should consider finding another dentist to go to since this dentist is not concerned about your teeth. This dentist does not deserve to get paid if he is not going to try to see as an patient without having an appointment.

Welcome to mylot This is real bad, but we face same problem here in all private clinics, you go, pay 200 buy a token and sit for hours, the doctor comes after hours, this is because they work in several clinics, greedy fellows, i hate this, In govt hospitals things are still worse, you won't find the doctor in time, during schduled duty hours, they work in private nursing homes and hospitals.. Thank you so much. Professor. . Cheers God bless you.
