2 years
wow how i wish 2 years would be done and over with
that's how long my contract is
as soon as i'm done i'm moving on to a new direction in life
all i really have to do is prepare the groundwork for that
i want to just write and write and write for a living and go to places i've never been to
i want to spend days on end working on my car and learning new things
i want to live
for now i am working on my investments so that in 2 years time i won't have to worry about earning money in an office, slaving thanklessly away
what do you want to do with your life?

I'm planning of moving to Australia in 3 years time or somewhere far from my country. I'm doing it to stay away from my sister. I'm moving away with my husband and my son so I'm satisfied with that. I plan to do it in 3 years time. I couldn't stay longer here anymore with my sister trying to pry with my own life.

oh don't be like that
you guys are still siblings
you should make peace with each other before parting ways
i went through that were i said i would never talk to my sister again
it was a cold war for 2 years
i would even refuse to recognize her in social gatherings
it was so hard to do
finally made peace with her after 2 years and we've had a harmonious relationship so far

hi chipestrkhan sounds like a great plan to me. As for myself I have been there and done this and that and am now retired. but one thing I do want to do while still alive and thats write my auto biography from farm girl to elderly living in a place I wou ld never have gone to willingly, a retirementg center. I had pictured up to when all hell dumped on us that I wou ld live out my days happily mylotting in my own bedroom in the apartment I shared with my adult son. but fate has a way of squelching the best laid plans. I was retired with social security and my son was working but he got laid off. the economy went from good to bad to wor st. it took a year and a half for my son to get a job and it was only partime now the man has told my son he only needs him one day a week. there gores any plans for getting back into an apartment for now. but I do have hopes, high hopes, pie in the sky hopes but I have thems. so keep happy by mylotting and visiting with all my many wonderful friends like you here on mylot. tell me why did mylot admins delete the discussion you wrote about cop car and a y ellow Volkswagen? I saw no rules broken there so was curious?

i'm so sorry about your son
maybe he should consider doing something innovative so that he doesn't need to depend on other people giving him a job
maybe he could start a little business
i'm slowly working towards my mini garage/ workshop
i'm trying to learn as much as possible too by observing others and joining clubs so that i can further my own education on cars
so many things to do
plan, plan, plan
