scrapbookers--what kind of adhesive do you prefer?

I am an avid scrapbooker, but still have not found the "perfect" adhesive. Glue sticks can cause pages to curl or get bumpy, and I have mixed success with tape runners--either they are not sticky enough or I press too hard and they score the pictures. Now I use primarily mounting squares, but they are expensive, make a big mess, and take a long time to use. What works best for you? Any suggestions are appreciated!

I use Duck brand double sided tape. I love it. I use it for both scrapping and card making. I like you have mixed results with the tape runners....and I don't like using the mounting squares....even those glue dots don't always stick!

Glue dots can be VERY frustrating, although I do like them better than tape runners. I will try the Duck brand if I can find it. Thanks for the tip!

I don't SB anymore, but when I did...the little adhesive mounting squares were my favorite. I got them on sale for 50% off at the craft stores all the time. I didn't like the tape runners as to many times the tape breaks and no way to fix it so I had to toss it and waste money. So the squares are the best in my opinion. The squares were quick and fast and other than some blue squares littering the area, they were perfect. I could even put them on things and not pull the blue thing off until I was really to adhere it for good.

The squares are what I use now--I am hoping to get suggestions for something even better, but maybe there is nothing better. Thanks!

I will use any kind of glue doing scrapbooking as long as it is acid free, same as the paper, it will preserve the pictures and suck better and wont yellow! Have fun!!
