Cheney may not want to plan any trips to Nigeria

Nigeria is filling charges against our former VP for his involvement in the halliburton scandel. While this sounds good and all...and yes the US does have an extradition treaty with Nigeria...do you really see them turning over a former VP to them? I think this is all for show. They can't really think our government will hand him over. What do you think? Real deal or political game playing? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40478180/ns/world_news-africa/

I dont know much about this situation. I did read the article and maybe I am missing it, but it doesnt seem they have much on Cheney. I particularly enjoyed the comments at the end. It seems there are people out there ready to execute the guy for not passing the salt! I dont think Nigeria will get their hands on Cheney. Do you realize that they guy isnt even human anymore? His body is running (heart) on machines installed inside! Lol, even God cant kill him! lmao.

I knew he had heart problems but I did not know about that. Wow. I guess when you are a former VP you get all kinds of medical care. I think it is all for show. They have to know to won't hand him over. It would cause a public embarressment even if they do have something on him.

has nothing to do with being a former VP and everything to do with having the money to pay for it. I highly doubt anything will come of this. Unless Cheney was planning a big Nigerian vacation.....

I think it's nothing but POLITICS. Unfortunately, the mud-slinging appears to go on in Nigeria as well as the U.S. I seriously doubt Nigeria will formally charge Cheney and/or ask for his extradition. And if they do, they'll be wasting time and resources, because Cheney won't be going to Nigeria any time soon. The last time I saw him, he looked really bad. I don't know how much longer he'll make it. I never liked him; he's part of the reason I left the Republican Party in 2004, but I also don't wish him ill (like many on MSNBC do). (I almost didn't read the link, but I did. Any time I see MSNBC reporting, I almost gag. How can you read something that makes you gag?)

I know. I am not a fan of MSNBC either...but as of the time the story broke they were the only ones reporting on it. America won't give him up...even if Nigeria is stupid enough to formally charge him.
