Anelka to follow Henry?

December 23, 2010 5:47am CST
I think its sad that Henry is now in america playing soccer i believe he still has the skill to be able to play in England. I think that Anelka who is only 33 is looking to also go to america is a shame. If they both wanted to keep playing at the top level im sure there are clubs in england that would love to have both of them. What do you guys think?

maybe....it`s about choice my friends... many of the legend spend their old career in MLS but some of them spend in UAE or Saudi Arabian League.. once again, it`s about choice..

Both of them are getting old and as a consecuence they get slower. Most of the English Premier League teams play with high and quick tempo which is best for fast players. As both of them are rather slow, the MLS is a more suitable league, although I believe the best choice for them is the Serie A, which is ideal for slower players.

I think most players these days are following this blueprint which was set by Beckham. When you are just stepping into that stage of life when you are slowing down a bit, move to US where the game is slightly less hectic than Europe. So I would not be surprised if more and more people follow this path. Cheers! Ram

All great players will know when it is time to bow from the big stage. While Henry still has the skill to play in England, his body might not be able to take him through the games. So instead of returning, why not go to another "lesser" league and leave his name and footprint as one of the greatest players who has grace the stage.

They both are quality players. But they are much underrated in England. I would love to see playing in EPL. They deserve to play there.
