hi friends. sure smith has this habit of getting out to zaheer but he never showed his true feeling about it untill yesterday. during the 4th over, smith drove a ball through midwicket.the camera suddenly shows harbhajan running, back peddling and even staying still without touching the ball to see whether smith runs for a clearly available second run or not but smith didn't. ofcourse he got out 2 balls later. seems zaheer is giving Mr.Smith some nightmares.

Smith is a class act. Luckily, for India Zaheer is has been able to get to get him out before serious damage could be done. Smith may not be literally SCARED of zaheer, but zaheer must be certainly be playing on his mind. Zaheer has done a serious damege to smith's reputation too. Smith giving bold statements against Zaheer & refusing to take first strike while opening the innings are indications of this.

In international cricket there are some players who turn out to be bunnies for some bowlers. Greame Smith seems to be Zaheer's bunny. I remember Ian Bell was Warne's bunny. In one series when Warne was not playing and Bell came to play, he faced a ball from Michael Bevan and I think it was Healy or Gili behind the stumps who suddenly shouted "Bowled Warnie!!" and Bell was not amused :). Similarly, Greame Smith should constantly be reminded of Zaheer!! Cheers! Ram

Hi, It could be mere coincidence that Smith gets out when Zahir bowls. I do not think he is particularly scared f him. Any way, India are now at commanding position. And Sresanth's five wickets haul was a real treat.

I don't think it is right to use afraid word.. yeah i agree zaheer khan becoming nightmare for smith as he taking his wicket in every match this doesn't mean that smith is afraid of zaheer khan sometimes it happens in cricket like ishant sharma becoming nightmare for pointing in last series in australia this doesn't mean pointing is afraid of ishant..this is just coincidence..

zaheer khan has always been a better bowler against left handed batsman than right handed.he has troubled smith many times in last tour in 2006.it may be in smith's mind as he has got him many times.even i had noticed that he didnot take a second run which they could have easily got.smith is struggling a bit with his form and i feel that could be the reason smith was hesitant to face zaheer.but as we normally say the thing from which we runs away would run behind us.eventually zaheer took his wicket.these things add fun to the game.i remember zaheer troubling mathew hayden in similar way.
