Why was a missile shot off of the coast of California near LA and whos was it?

This is an old one but I just ran across it. Apparently there was a missile launch off of the coast of California on November 9th and the Military is denying it was theirs. It was caught on camera by a CBS news helicopter. In the absence of any explanation rumors are flying about who's it was and what the purpose was. Some people think it was a Russian or Chinese missile. Others say it was a American sub that fired it at a Chinese sub that used an EMP weapon against the Carnival cruise ship that was dead in the water the day before.
If the case is the later than I am guessing that our diplomacy with China is not as good as the news media is letting on and there is a secret scrimmages going on right now that we don't know about. What do you think could we be heading to war with China and could China be flexing its muscle while we are caught up in two wars?

It was most likely an illusion by an Airplane the trail of it was tracked by an helicopter pilot for 10 Minutes which if it was a Missile a thing traveling at a subsonic speed wouldn't be able to track it for any amount of time. Also NORAD and all the Radar systems turns out nothing but a plane also.
NASA Launches the smoke trail doesn't stop and start as it do so it was an Airplane and the illusion was caused by the fact the earth isn't flat.

The news media was bored and had nothing to report about so they had to create something. As usual, they don't tell the whole story, all the facts, the truths or research....they just say "hey, look at that!" and let people's minds wander about and stir up concern and fear.

What is even more funny is that they later would go on to blame the DOD for not telling them that it was just a plane. But the Military was giving the response the whole time NORAD didn't detect anything, FAA didn't notice anything no planes reported a missile launch, No Countries took responsibility for it. The signs where there the interview with the Helicopter pilot where he talks of tracking it for 10 minutes in an Helicopter. Well I would think at this point some one in the media would of went but missiles travel over 768 MPH an a helicopter doesn't go half that, Especially a News Helicopter.
The Daily show did a good job of covering it though.

No...not a missile. It was a plane, flight AW808 to be precise.. I did a whole write up on it a while ago. It went something like this:
A web cam on Newport Beach will capture this "launch" every evening and a check of flight routs will show the regular path of this particular flight. Yet strangely enough, the news is ignoring all this and still perpetuating it as a "mystery". I guess the mundane just isn't news.

LOL! The funny thing is I just finished watching another youtube clip where CBS news interviewed former deputy of secretary of defense and he said that is not a Tomahawk missile but a large missile possibly a ICBM...lol

Now, xfahctor, stop trying to be so calm and reasonable. You know as well as I do that it was a missile fired by a UFO, which the government knows is there...because the alien lifeforms have taken over....
