Is there any limitt to learning..?

I have come across many people who claim to be very knowledgeble a also feel that thare is nothing for them to learn any more.I feel sad for such people.In this context I recollect an episode I read long back.You must all have heard of Joh Milton the famous epic poet of English. He became blind because of several hours of reading.In his last hours when he was in death bed and all his admirers and relatives gathered around him and were weeping by his bed side he called his stenographer and dicated a letter to Geographical Society of France asking them to send the latest Atlas.He was blind and he was in death bed.Imagine his thirst for knowledge.When I recollect this my eyes become wet.I feel there is no need to be content with what we know which is very insignificant compared to what we do not knoww...

I also feel sorry and sad for those who are arrogant. I think those people just cut off so much possibilities and chances and lessons! There is never enough time to learn all that we can and the person only makes it fall short. Very tragic.

As you rightly say we have to pity those who are arrogant and feel proud of their knowledge.The life is short and things to learn or know are many and why should any one feel proud or arrogant...
