products endorsed by a celebrity

When buying a new product, I would sometimes try a new one endorsed by a famous celebrity. Not that I believe the celebrity, but would just like to try if what is being said about it is true. Do you do the same too?

Even if you don't believe the celebrity, I think that the endorsement has already done its job. Which is to get you, and hundreds other, to try the product. I used to work for a cosmetic company where we hired celebrities to endores our products. They would come to our plant and really know nothing about the product. It is just marketing, and a ploy to sell more. Me, I don't.

I only choose products endorsed by my favorite ones. Then, after trying it and have found it to be really nice, it would become my favorite too. But if not, i will go back to my former tried and tested product.
