Well, I have helped organize events like shows where crafters and Business people come to do business, but never done an event where people have been able to perform and such. This might be a Fun thing to do, even if it is a lot of work. The main thing is remembering to always stay focused, and not give up and be prepared when people come to you with questions, etc. It is a lot of work but quite rewarding in the end.

I have organized several events, but not for entertainment. They were conferences for university professors and that sort of thing. Have fun. My advice is to get a ring binder and divide it into sections where you keep your agenda and all specifications for things you contract with other people to provide and your invoices and all of that good stuff, because often people do not provide what they charged you for or people and then you have to prove what is owed you. It is also a good place to put phone numbers of all the different people who will be helping you. HAVE FUN.

Hi excellence, Organizing a show comes under event management. I have organized more than a dozen of different kind and size of them. First thing you must be able to draw the attention of the audience and for that you have to have a fluency over whatsoever language you would use. As there would be varieties of programmer make sure the same event is not followed immediately the other. Keep on changing the event. Involve the audience by keeping some surprise gifts. If you think audience is a little bit tired you enlighten them with some jokes or other things. Never show your disappointment or anger. All the best.

5 years back I have organised a music concert. First of all we have fixed a date for organising the concert. We have selected the singers to be participate in the event. Then we got the brochures prited and distributed among friends, relatives and other normal people. As the singers are famous, there is a big audience. We have organised the event successfully with the help of our colleagues and friends. The people also appreciated us for conducting such a good concert. I felt very happy and it is a memorable event in my life.
