I know you can't past the physical to be a mother but... you are Both father And Mother to your kids , just like your counterpart has always been. Society Knows about single moms , G-d bless them, but not so much about you . So this Sunday take time to celebrate the things you do for your kids.

Now that's a nice thing to do. Although my children do not live with me, I try and do everything I can when I get them every two weeks. I love them more than life itself. But their mother, even though we are not on speaking terms these days, is a good mother to the kids. No matter what my feelings are toward her.

You know..that is sad too. There are single dads out there that work their tails off to raise children and they are not well known. We have had gender roles shoved down our throats for so long that we place people in certain categories and leave them there to waste away. Thumbs up to moms and dads everywhere that are trying to raise kids on their own. If we all stayed traditional..what would happen to the children?

I think many, many women would be miserable and their hubbies would be working more than they do now. If Every household was traditional, that means the man would be the Only "bread winner" Many women would resent being home All the time and they would take it out on their husbands and the This is how the kids would see marriage. It is sadder than just having one , loving parent.

Being a single parent of either gender can be a challenge. Men don't have the intuitions and instincts that mothers have, but I have to say that I give single dads a lot of credit. Being a parent is a day to day learning lesson. Someone might be able to advise you how to parent, but sometimes it is easier said than done. Thank you to both men and women who are single parents, but continue to love and care for their children regardless of the stresses of single parenting.
