Red Sox vs Cubs!

Are you as excited as I am? These two teams haven't met since 1918! I must confess I am one that wasn't into interleague play. But this match up excites me! I'm sooo glad that these two didn't have to wait to meet in the World series! That ould be a sign there is no G-d, lol! they are meeting on a Sunday in May! Perfect! Your thoughts.

As you may already know, I'm not into baseball too much (NHL, NFL, then maybe NBA, then MLB), but this year I've watched a few games on TV, because my son is playing in Little League.
I didn't know about this interleague play, but I would be curious to watch the game.
Did I ever mention that my son's team in Little League is called the Red Sox? And because of this, I've started to watch a few Red Sox games. And I bought a few Red Sox paraphernalias. And I am making plans to watch the Red Sox play the Mariners at Safeco field in August.

( smiling) Wonderful! I like sports almost in the same order. NHL, NFL,MLB , and then Rugby and Australia Rules Football , Soccer. No Basketball! I rather watch grass grow! Yes before a few yeas ago , the Only way a American League team would meet a National League team was in the Worlds Series. I am a little of a traditionalist when it comes to baseball so it took a match up like this to get me excited about interleague games.

Well being from New York I can say that I am not a Red Sox fan. I watch baseball from time to time but I don't care who wins as long as it's a New York team. I like the Cubs though. I would love to see them win a world series for a change. The red sox? Enemies to New York. Only in baseball that is. I hope the cubs beat the red sox real bad.

I agree with the Cubs Finally winning it all. But I love both My Mets, my team since 1986, and My Red Sox! I Loathe the Yankees. That's is how I got to be part of Red Sox Nation. But my Mets are my heart. From Gary Carter and Mookie to Piazza and Wright, I love them! so can we agre to disagree with the Yankees? I still would like to be friends.
