I used to work as a cocktail waitress back in my late twenties and there were more fights and weirdos seemed to come out of the woodwork during a full moon. Have you had any weird occurences lately? THis is right around a full moon(June 14 20:14)and I always feel funny around this time of the month. I have heard that more paranormal stuff goes on, witchs are out, etc. My daughter finds it hard to sleep during a full moon. Do you find anything alittle odd during this time?

I am an OCD during fullmoons!!! My siblings love that about me, because when the moon comes out, I can't bear any mess on our room...I want things to be on their places so I always get to maniacally clean up on that day...I don't know why, it's been a normal occurrence for me that I didn't think about it until your post!!!1 person likes this

That's different. And you aren't that much that way other that on the full moon?

I have a bit of OCD everyday, but it really goes beyond my control this day...it's not harmful I guess so I let it be...

Hi celticeagle. The few days around the full moon this month, I've felt really strange. Just down for no reason.
My boyfriend and I are getting on better than ever, my exams are over (and seemed to go okay) and my only worry is trying to find a job. Yet I've been really anxious about my boyfriend, worried he might leave, and getting upset over little things, strressing over the exams....
I know the things I'm worried about are unlikely, and I'm way more worried than is logical but I can't seem to help it.
It hadn't really occurred to me that it could be related to the full moon, but it's a really interesting idea.

It seems we are definitely more sensitive around this time of the month.

Hi drasnian. I was reading your reply and I notice that we're in the same situation. Same anxieties and same worries and all. However, I good about my life, having recently moved out, which is a long story in itself.
I can't say much about how "aware" I am lately though. I guess I'm just taking it all in. The Irish pubs in my neighborhood were full last night though. At least that's what I notice.

hi celticeagle oh yes when I worked as a nurse's aide many years' back we would always see more babies born in that evening than most any other time, more weird accidents late at night of the full moon, and more crazy
car accidents like getting a hand or foot caught in a car door, or a tree falling on a car with people in it, really weird stuff that never seemed to happen during the ordinary phases of the moon. We really came at times to dread the full moon. Also the police reported more hold ups of small stores late a night during the full moon.Working in a hospital during the full moon is really interesting for sure. things that are weird do happen during the full mooon.

I have heard them before. We were up at a hot springs once and heard two wolf packs calling to one another. I was so in awe. Wolves are one of my favoirites. I love the song, "Werewolves of London" too. I remember the ones on Buffy too. They seemed almost feline. Yes, I do hear the howling!

I think the full moon does have an effect on people. I haven't had any weird occurences happen of late..my tail has to be in bed so early now that the full moon comes and goes for me. I did work third shift when I was a CNA at a nursing home and you could see a big difference in the people during the full moon.

It sure seems to. Magnetic pull or something. Some are more sensitive to it than others.

This post might be a bit strange but then again it's about the Moon anyway.
Funny. I just realized RIGHT NOW that I've been reading the tarot until the day before. I've had friends say that it's best to read the tarot on a full moon for "cleansing" while others say it's best to read during a new moon. I thought I'd read the cards yesterday but they weren't making any sense (I'm going through rigorous transition, you see, which is why I keep reading lately) so I put them away and took a nap. I guess it was the full moon?
On one other full moon early this year, my friend and I were walking home late one night when we ran into a (mild) altercation with some drunk kids. I won't get into details but it was a strange encounter nonetheless and while it was full moon.
Last one. Lately, as I walk around the neighborhood, I keep seeing things in the corner of my eye. I've walked past fire hydrants and I see things sitting on top of them when there's really nothing there. I'm new to the neighborhood and I'm wondering if these things are territorials checking out the new girl or if it's just the full moon.

I think the full moon affects us in as sensitive a way as we are going to let it. If we are real sensitive it is going to really hit us. As far as the 'territorials' I think you are seeing energy of past neighbors. During the full moon it is said that the paranormal has a stronger pull. You might check into those neighbors that may have past in the areas where you see these. If you see something there how can there not be anything there? I used to see black orbs down near the floor in the apartment we used to live in. My daughter says they are spirits.

Good day celticeagle!
I have never noticed anything different during full moon. I suspect it's only our mind making up tings about weird things done more often during these days.
Of course no-one can be sure. For me, full moon means more romance, I usually end up being sad because my girlfriend is far and I cannot spend time with her as I would like.
