Today I got an e-mail about this site that tells how you know you are addicted to pogo. well every one of these things are just the truth about me. i love everything about it except the high price, even that though seems justified if you get so much pleasure from it. So here is a link, its so funny. http://www.ehow.com/how_4893745_youre-addicted-pogo.html NOT A REFERRAL link. its about the discussion. are you addicted to games online? pogo? Do you know of any others that offers a mini to dress up, etc.?

I haven't played many games online in the past few months and never did get anywhere near addicted to them. Pogo is fun but there is no reward for me there--I could not care less about the virtual "prizes" and although I see winners of the sweepstakes I have never won and I'm sure I never will. There is no incentive there for me unless I want to just vegetate in front of my computer and that's pretty rare. I do like a couple of the games, though.

guess im just a game maniac. because most of my kids love playing games to. i raised them playing board games. it developes a lot of things in them, like intelligence, diplomacy, and realising you dont always win. but try again. actually pogo is the only place i can multi task. by watching tv and playing at the same time. lol

My boys and I played board games, too, and it's a shame that computer games are taking over--they're fun but don't exactly encourage conversation or emotional intimacy while playing. It was always great to sit around the table and play while we talked about stuff, laughed and horsed around. So many computer games are solitary experiences, placing a wall between parents and children. Sometimes I think it'd be a great thing if we lost computers. Lots more jobs would be re-created, too! I should have put my computer in my living room with the TV and all so I could multi-task, too!

yes i miss the days the kids played board games with me. but i will have to admit, in pogo, ive kept in contact with my daughter in florida many times while we played. they have a side bar you can chat with friends on while you play. you can even go to private chat while you play.

The "mini" is your little profile guy/gal, kind of like "Mini Mes" from that Austin Powers stupid movie.

I've been a Club Pogo member since its inception. Was playing there long before there was a Club Pogo. The membership fee started out at $19 I think and has steadily kept climbing. I figured I wasted the amount of the fee every month anyway, so I continue to renew and buy chicken and turkey that month instead of roasts and steaks. I don't think I'm addicted. I just want it available whenever I want it. Most of the other game sites don't have much incentive to stay with them. I'm not much into the mini's. I've still got the same dragon and pile of gold as when I started. I did add the brown dragon when it came out. I'll check out the link shortly.

That's cute and timely. I just got an email telling me I can get three free months of Pogo but have to sign up for either a month at $5.99 or a year at $39.99. I just can't justify spending that much money on some silly game. Although I probably spend that much if not much more on Facebook playing games there. I am addicted to Farkle and Bejeweled on there.

they have a lot more including bejeweled and likely more different kind of games then you find any where else online. plus, you can talk to friends on the side chat if you are inclined. any game any time you want to play. even games like yahtzee, and monopoly also, slots, etc.
