I was wondering if anyone have lost their luggage in a country? The reason I want to know is that some of the WWE Superstars and Divas who are in South Africa has lost their luggage and this happened before back in September 2007. It's a long story to explain, but I want to see if anyone have a problem like this.

Oh that would be some expensive luggage to loose for the WWE stars.
Did they get it back?
I havn't lost my luggage in another country but i have left my bags at the bar of the airport after having a quick drink with my boyfriend, when he was staying interstate. We litterally go onto the bus to leave and i realised i didn't have my bag and the bus driver waited while he ran back and got it for me! Very Close call!
I wouldn't have had any clothes or make up for my trip!

I sent family and friends postcards from a place along the Garden Route. These postcards and their stamps probably got stolen and never arrived in my home country. On my outward flight to Cape Town from London there had been a five hour delay due to fog.
Earlier this year I traveled with my disabled son aged 3 and my daughter aged 1. We went from London to Cartagena De Indias via Madrid and Bogota. The plane going to Spain arrived two hours late so we missed our South American connection. We went on a different airline on to Colombia. Again we missed our onward flight so they gave us hotel accommodation overnight. When we arrived it looked like our luggage had been lost. Our luggage was tracked and did arrive at our hotel 24 hours later. Three items from it were missing and didn't turn up.
I suggest putting all essentials in the hand luggage. I was running out of my son's catheters by the time our luggage arrived at the hotel. If they hadn't got to us I wonder how I would have managed to get some catheters with the language barrier.

Moving to Japan for a year, one of my two big suit cases got lost. The airlines gave me money to replace the toiletries, and then had my suitcase delivered to my apartment. it being japan, they did not just leave it outside the door, when I was not home, they brought it to my workplace to make sure it got to me. I still had enough clothes etc for the first few days in the one bag that did make it.

Fortunately, I never had this problem. It's probably a big trouble to recover the bag, I imagine the stress. I had a friend that lost his luggage when he was traveling to Australia. He had to wait for a couple days to the luggage come back, because it was sent to another country.
