I would love to start a blog, and I have a basic idea of blogging itself. However I would like to hear some tips or advice from the people who actually already blog and are familiar with the real deal. :)

Hi! I am quite inexperienced blogger myself, I write just for fun about my life and I am not making any money from my blog, so I can't help you with tips to increase the cash income on your blog. However, it would be wise for you to decide if you want to make money or you just want to write for fun like me. And I actually use Wordpress too, I think it's a good choice. They have many templates and gadgets to make your blog more vivid and interesting. Good luck with your blog, have fun! ;)

Thank you! :D I was struggleing between blogger and Wordpress, but I think I will go with the latter. Wordpress seems to have a better reputation than blogger.

Go in prepared. You'll need patience, you'll need to be passionate about your subject, you'll need to grit your teeth and be stubborn when you get no return on your time. Decide what your goal is, as well - you want to make money, you want to express yourself, you want to help other people: whatever it is, write it down and remember to stay focussed on it or you'll lose your way and give up. And write in your own style. Don't listen to anyone else: they're all talking rubbish. (Me included!)

I'm in the middle of writing a book about freelancing and it's incredibly hard to stay focussed on the main point. But without that focus, it'll all just turn into Yet Another Bunch Of Words. Very difficult. There's some tips in the Blogging category on my own blog that might help, too. And stuff about traffic, ways to save your blog's life, blah blah babble babble.

I didn't think about setting a goal, but that might be the key to keeping me track as you say. :)

It is good that you are interested in blogging. My observation in blogging, the readable blog that is useful is about an informative blog. In this kind of blog your topics is not seasonal and ready reference to the readers. So blog much on informative one. Just take time and have more patience to blog. It will take more time to be stable in this business. Happy blogging. I will invite you to my blog. Just look to my profile.

What blog provider are you using? I might help you with some onsite SEO if I have used that blog provider. Is it wordpress, blogger or others?

I would say: Make the blog about a topic you are truly interested in and passionate about, otherwise it is generally hard to keep it up. And be nice to your readers! reply to their comments and questions, and visit their blogs. Blogging is so much more fun if you develop friendships with the readers!

That's true! A loyal reader is often a friend from what I have heard. :D And being courteous is only common sense.

Same like you, I just start to make a blog (with blogger) & almost ready for publishing. But I had 1 big problem (at least for me), I don't know how to make sub-label for my post (I had several pages in 1 blog). Any one can help me?

Sorry, I don't know about that. I also did some research on the subject and came up with nothing. However, I suggest you start a new discussion on your problem in the blogging section. I am sure some experienced blogger will see it and help you. I don't think many people that could help you will see your question all the way down here! :)
