I'd posted another ad up yesterday trying to find homes for the gerbil babies, and finally got a response.
The woman wants 2 males, so we have to be sure that the gender is properly identified before sending them out.
I'm still waiting to hear from her, she's supposed to come by in a couple of hours.
Hoping that we can find homes for the rest of them soon.

I want to bawl my eyes out now. She came and took our females. The lone gray one was female and now she's gone.
This lady had a gerbil that lived to be 4 years old, so she's well experienced with them.
I know they're going to a good home.

That is the problem with breeding animals, they grow up and need homes as well. I hope you can definitely determine whether they are male and female. As I remember you thought you were getting two of a kind and instead got one of each.

This is why I split the parents up last week. Needed to do so otherwise she would have killed more babies.
But after a third litter, that will be it, no more babies.

Is it just the first litter you are trying to find homes for right now or is the other one old enough also? I hope that you were able to get the first two placed that night and that the others are placed soon as well. Have a great weekend!!!

Nice top see Kris that slowly you are getting homes for all of them. I am sure they are all a handful but seems like you do really well with them all.
