Lights in Bathrooms!

I am talking about the ones that are on timers!
I hate them and most of the the bathrooms at work have them. So if you have to be there for a while the darn lights go off when I am on the toilet! Of course they don't go back on until I get up! I usaully take care of business before I get up! It is so annoying! I wish the the lights could be just be turned off and on as needed! Gr!

Hi, blue65packer. I know what you mean. I believe that I have seen a light like this in a motel bathroom. It would turn off all by itself. Once the timer goes all the way around, it shuts off. This is very non useful, because if a person is using the bathroom, then they may be standing or sitting, in the dark, once this light shuts off. I also think that these type of lights are in the shower stall in the hospital room's too.

I hate those timer lights! I am usually sitting down when they turn off! GR! They also have a timer on the store room light! It never goes on when you walk in! It will when you area almost done in there or as you leave! So stupid! You are right! Very unuseful! They probaly waste more energy then save!

I really think those lights are annoying too! We have one right infront of the main door of the house that annoys me, I would go ballistic if I had one in the bathroom.
Anyway whenever I am trying to find my keys, the light goes off, and I have to walk a few steps or jump around to turn them on again. Seriously I don't like it

That is really annoying! I would not not like that either! It is bad enough I have to deal with them in the bathrooms at work! GRR!

Wow. I have never heard of those kinds of lights before. I would hate that too. I hate it also that you cannot flush some of the toilets on your own either. They only flush when you stand up.

Wher I work,in a college, is the only place I know of where the lights are on timers. Walmart is one place they have the toilets that flush when you get up. I hate those,too!
