Fate of earning at mylot on sudden death of a mylotter.

What will happen to my earning at mylot if I suddenly die? Will the amount accrued to my credit at mylot at that moment be handed over to my legal heir as soon as it is reported to the management of mylot? Will my heir be allowed to continue with the account or will the account be terminated automatically on valid confirmation of my death? If terminated, what will be the fate of my postings? Will they be deleted or will they remain there as before? If there is any further earning, what will happen to it?

Doctordidi, the thing is with our accounts is that unless there is some kind of court order myLot will not be able to release funds to anyone. This I assume because myLot does not allow anyone but us to use our account and for them to be able to issue payment to someone else, how will they know the person is assigned and or related. One must remember that they only release the minimum and or more, so if it is not at the minimum how can they release the money? Also if it is not at the minimum, how can it be achieved if we have passed away. So the best route as the many have specified above is that you contact admin for the answer to this. The other thing to also remember is that if we do not login for 90 days all the earnings zero out. This is in the terms of agreement we signed up to when first becoming a member. I suggest you get the answer from admin as it appears that it would not be possible if we are no longer living.

I don´t thinkt hat my heirs would be interested in doing any kind of work for the money that I usually have as credit at mylot. In fact, if mylot wasn´t so much fun, I don´t think I would come here for the money. I earn a lot more at other (boring) sites. I don´t think it is simple to show a site that you are a legal heir. In order to do that, there´s paperwork that costs more than the money that mylot owes you. Is it worth it?

I would imagine that if you had made payout, and no one told admin otherwise, your earnings would go into your Pay Pal account. If you had not made payout, after you did not log in for 90 days they would be forfeited.

That is definitely not something that we like to talk about, but in this digital age, it is definitely something that people do have to think about. My assumption would be that if you have enough in your account to earn a payout, then that amount of money will be transferred to your paypal account on the next mylot payday, anything that hasn't earned enough to be a payment will be lost to your heirs. As far as your posts go, I would think that they would stay because there are many posts on the site that are by members that have not been active on the site for quite some time.

I would think if someone die having a mylot account and a family member knows about it it will workout well. But if someone do not know about the account and the person die, it'll be an not active account and it will probably be closed.

Oh, wow. Only Admin could tell. But maybe the account would be simply idle, and the earning would be lost due the rules of 90-days-inactivity. I guess we have to include our myLot username and password in testament, so at least we can inherit it to our beloved one . And I guess it is not only myLot, but also username and password of our e-payment processor

If there is a legal heir then this person can have access to the funds. I think if their earning go to Paypal then it would be that site you would have to have the heir communicate with. And, ofcourse, after 90 days it would be reinstated to the site. The account will remain as the person left it.

Hello DoctorDidi, well, simple as abide by the rules, teh earnings will be forfeited prior to 90 days of not logging in. but the message convey regarding Sparkofinsanity's farewell to this mylotter is priceless. i believe this is one of those too old accounts that is so precious and will never be set to inactive mode.

This is the first discussion that caught my eye as I git back from a long hibernation from online earning and mylot. The thought is just simply sad and of course I don't have the answer for the question. Seeing the mylot terms it would be safe to say that your earning will be gone after 3 months of inactivity, sad but that is how I see things from the FAQ's and terms point of view.
