All Those Seasonal Offers

Haven't you noticed advertisements in the newspapers and large hoardings on the pavement sides elaborating on fanciful offers. It is quite evident that none of those are to be chosen in how much extend to which they tempt you. In fact nothing is offered FREE in this world. The free offers proposed are mere coaxes never to be trusted upon. After all no one will give away anything as absolutely free to anyone else. The trick which lies behind every offer is that the cost of the advertised product would most often include the free gift as well. Hence it is all a business trick....simple luring of customers to buy a product in question in plenty.

Well, I think that for as long as the world goes on there will be seasonal offers that happen at different times throughout the year. Of course, there is nothing in life that is free. Right now the typical offer that we see is for school supplies because schools are either getting ready to start or they are already back in session. It is great to be able to find things for a steal, but I really wish that some of those things were free. The next set of seasonal offers that we will see around here will be Halloween items.

hi:) yeah they are all some kind of scam, except of course for the free trial.same as in malls, sometimes employee's of a certain brand will go to you and tell you that you will get a free gift if you buy their other products, but the truth is if you compute the real price of the item offered and the free stuff it's the same, so it's a trick, nothing is free.

In our country India where there are 101 festivals at any given time of the year and especially around the major ones like Ganpati and Divali one sees huge hoardings offering big discounts and sale offers.People rush to these thinking that it is a bargain. However they do not realise that it is merely old unsold stock that is being cleared and also that the sale price includes the retailers profit though at a little less profit.During normal times the shops make a profit of at least 200 to 300% and during festival times they reduce it to around 100to 150%,but profit they do make. These are all gimmicks to fool the public who i am sure know about it yet still think they are getting a bargain.

yes, i agree with this comment. it is all a trick to get you into the store for the sales and buy more because theoretically you are saving money on the sales. Back school is favorite time to see this in the newspapers and magazines and online too. There is you have to buy two of something or buy it at regular price and send in the sales receipts and proof of purchase to get the rebate of $10.00 etc... and it wierd address you send all information too and sometimes it can take 4 weeks before you get your check. Yes, the authority should monitor the situation. Many times this offers are more to loss than gaining for the customers. The shops sometimes put a lower price on product that has got nothing to do with the price. They also just paste the price tag whereas the product are all over the place, then when you go to pay at the cash counter then you realize you been taken for a ride.
