What is the difference between Happiness and Pleasure?

We are pleasure seeking society. Most of us our energy seeking pleasure and avoiding pain. We hope that by doing this, we will feel happy. yet deep, abiding happiness and joy elude so many people.

When we provide food for a hungry and poor child it gives us happiness. But when we eat our favorit food at a resturant it gives us pleasure. When we give something to others without expecting a benefit from them it gives us happiness. But when we do something to please ourselves it gives us pleasure. At times our pleasure may cause pain to others. So we should be clear that we do not disturb or trouble others just fo the sake of our pleasure. Happy mylotting.
