Tiger goes to the farm after the 15th of this month.

The woman who is taking him is moving into the farm property on the 15th and said she'll take him after that. She's going to build some sort of shelter for him so he gets through the winter, but will keep him in the garage for a month until then. Since he's gone into hiding, Tiger wants nothing to do with any of us, so I'm glad he'll be out in the wild where he belongs. But he'll be safer out there since there will be no traffic and no one trying to poison the area cats. I'll get updates on him when he's there, and should be able to go see him when I get the chance. But given how far away the farm is, this will not be an easy thing to do. I'm glad though, he'll have a better life and that's what he needs.

Yes, that is what he needs and she obviously cares about animals, just as you do. You have so much going on in your life, it is just too hard to make him stay where he does not want to be.

Totally overwhelmed with things in my life. From the squirrel to 9 gerbils and rescued cats and 6 day work weeks. Ugh. Once he's gone, that will be one less thing to worry about. At least I wont worry about him being neglected.

kris - But you will be thinking about Tiger and worry after his going. It is like going away from a relative.

I believe this will be very good for Tiger. Know that you have done far and beyond to nurse Tiger to health and now being on the farm someone else will pick up where you left off. You will miss Tiger but knowing that Tiger is being well taken care of will be of some comfort.

hi kris I am glad that tiger is going to b e safe on this farm property.poor kitty he just does not trust anyone. He must have been terribly mistreated by people.I hate that as those are the worst kinds of people who mistreat little kitties.Yes he will have a better life and you might get to see him occasionally.

I am so happy for your Tiger as he has made up his mind to stay away from you guys and that's final! There he will be a 'free bird' and animals enjoy that very much. Good decision kris.

kris -- I am happy Tiger is going to the farm and you are convinced he will have good life. You can also visit him whenever you can or get updates over phone or over video also.

I think an occasional trip might be worthwhile. I am glad you will get weekly updates, too.

I'll probably get weekly updates, which is good. Going to see him wont be easy as the farm is about 3 hours from here. But if I can, I will.
