Did our pets will go to heaven later? Did animals have souls?

The Bible does not teach clear whether pets / animals have a "soul" or will go to heaven or not. However, we can use the general principles of the Bible to shed light on this topic. God breathed life into man (Genesis 2:7), and animals (Genesis 1:30; 6:17; 7:15, 22). The main difference between humans and animals is that humans are created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Another factor to consider in this question is that God created the animals as part of the process of creation in Genesis. God created the animals and said that it was good (Genesis 1:25). There is therefore no reason why later in the new earth there will be no beast (Revelation 21:1). How does your faith or personal opinion?

When I worked at a Humane Society, I first discovered the poem about Rainbow Bridge. This poem tells of a heaven-like place for our beloved pets to go when they leave us. My belief is that there truly is a Rainbow Bridge and our cherished companions go to this most special paradise. Of course animals have souls. Our creator has made them and each animal is both unique and precious.
