Why most of the Indian kids want to be Sachin Tendulkar ?

hello friends...
have you ever think that all Indian kids have dream to play like Sachin Tendulkar but no one think to play like Glenn Mcgrath or allan donald?
That is the main reason India suffers due to the lake of a good bowler..
So friends what you think takes the kids attraction towards batting not in bowling?

yes friend...you said the right thing ..we need to have some quality bowlers...and mostly in the sense good quality fast bowlers not medium passe...need to have some fast bowlers....If we get some good wicket taking bowlers then I think our bowlers will also be very much popular like our batsman....

Firstly, bowling fast is tiring, requires strong build, great work ethics and process. Kids find hitting 6s and 4s like Sehwag and Sachin much easier, more fun and paying.
Moreover, Indian wickets are flat, dry and unresponsive and discourages fast bowlers. A bowler may initially bowl fast but due to lack of proper guidance, training and nutrition coupled with injuries, becomes a medium pacer to prolong his career. Example: Munaf Patel who started out as a fast bowler but now is line and length medium pacer.
Sadly, we also do not have too many role models when it comes to fast bowling in India. So, unless BCCI and MRF Pace Foundation step up and make fast bowling lucrative, picture does not look too rosy.

Whatever but you are right thatKids find hitting 6s and 4s like Sehwag and Sachin much easier, more fun and paying....and you are true in the next line also....as a result a fast bowler like Munaf Patel has started with 150 and saturated in 130....and yes you are right that we need to have some good fast bowler for our team now...and for that a organized step from BCCI is very much essential...
