Waiter! There is a fly in my soup!

No it was not in the soup it was in the gravy! Tonight at work (I work in a kitchen at a college),we were serving a Thanksgiving style dinner for the students. Everytime this year flies show up in the kitchen. They come in the recieving door downstairs and make their way up in the elevator shaft or in the elevator. Anyway one decided to take a swim in the turkey gravy! Luckily no student was in line when we noticed it! The gravy and fly was dumped out and we replaced it with new gravy! Has anything like this ever happen to you?

haha a fly in the soup. my case when I sleep until I entered a fly in his mouth but no soup. Can you imagine sleeping and a fly you into the mouth and starts buzzing and you wake up and feel shut miash that thing when you open your mouth and fly off from your mouth. nice day!

Never thought of that happening! Gross! Last summer I accidently got a gnat in my mouth! Luckly I was able to cough up it up! that was gross!

LOL. It hasn't happened to me but I could just imagine. I am glad that you threw the whole thing out instead of just removing the fly and still serving it LOL.

We would of never just taken out of the gravy! We kow better then that! We also don't want to make anynoe sick! It could! you never know!
