Just as I posted a discussion about how rude dish network was, I came cross an article over newspaper about the service provided by those airline, like Northwest. A customer who is a frequent flyer, and he has grudge against the airline he board with, since they always delay the flight, or mishandle his luggage, and the last minute notification about the cancellation of his booked flight. He called many times to file a complaint, and Northwest also compensate partial money as good token of future business. At the end, the airline simply took away his free sky mileage, the only reason is that he complained too much. Can you believe that? The same service I experience with dish network, which I simply want a cancellation, and they give some attitude over the phone. I definitely would file a complaint on BBB.org like the advice given by many mylotters here. I just wonder, airlines are fed deregulated, how would you file complaint against them, it might happen to this particular customer I just read on the newspaper?

That airline was very wrong for taking away the man's free sky mileage which was part of his frequent flyer membership. The man was just being honest and yet he got punished by doing that. I would file a complaint about that airline. I would ask the Citizen's Advice Bureau how to go about making the compliant. This adviser might refer me to a lawyer. My worst flight happened earlier this year. We sat on the plane for two hours on the ground. Then the plane took off without any word about what was going on. I missed my connecting flight in Madrid. It was terrible trying to speak to the airline. In the end one said go to talk to a different airline. That airline let us have two seats right at the back of their plane to Bogota usually for cabin crew. We arrived close to midnight and the original airline let us have a free hotel room in Bogota. Flying on to the coast happened the next morning. Then we found our baggage had gone missing. I spoke to an airport employee and he traced our luggage. He personally delivered it 24 hours later. I have learned keep essentials in my hand luggage and that applies greatly to my disabled son's medical equipment. I did write a letter to a train company that did wrongly and I didn't get anywhere with that.

I'm not really sure. I guess they would have to take it to the Supreme Court.
