The cost is unbelievable high on Fedex, and DHL

I was trying to delivered a stack of documents oversea to mainland China, but the cost is unbelievable high through Fedex and DHL, as I tried to get the quotation price on the delivery fee. I came by DHL agency, and the lady told me that it will cost me up to $59.00 for 3 days delivery. At work, I tried to use ask the warehouse guy who do shipping, he told me that even though with 30% discount, the cost will be approximately $100. That just outrageous. With a pack of documents that cost that much. Finally, I came around U.S. post office with their express mail delivery. I relieved that they will deliver it within 3 - 5 days, with a cost of $29.95. Although it is considered expensive at my point, but at least saving a lot compare to Fedex and DHL. What do you think?
