England managed to qualify for the Euro 2012 with a draw against Montenegro. But what should have been a easy win with England leading 2-0 after 20 minutes quickly turned out to be a sour affair. Montenegro fought back to score a goal before the break. Then Rooney kicked out at a player to be sent off and Montenegro cashed in with the equalizer. For Rooney this rounds off an awful week where his father got arrested for gambling and he now has a red card which could mean that he might miss a match or two at the Euros!! Cheers! Ram

It is a English phrase to indicate a person who has lost his cool. Cheers! Ram

Rooney had a red mist moment. He kicked at an opponent after losing the ball to him. The referee had no choice but to flash the red card. Apparently, Rooney has apologized to his team mates for letting them down with the red card. Cheers! Ram

As usual, England choked up under pressure. Watching the highlights, Rooney kick is totally unnecessary. Capello had said before that Joey Barton is like a explosive waiting to happen, Rooney gave him a timely reminder that he too is capable of doing crazy things. England might have qualified for the finals but they will have a tough time in the tournament.

Yes, it was a totally unnecessary kick out by Rooney. I think the pressure of things happening at home with his father being jailed might have affected him. All in all it was an unnecessary sending off which might mean that might miss out matches in the early rounds at Euro. Cheers! Ram

Well ram.. I think England was playing really good on first half and before Rooney got red card and being sent off.. However, the players seems loose their confident level a bit after Rooney gone.I know that Rooney has personal problem and capello should not enforced him to play last night.. But the importance thing is England succeed to qualify and we can see them playing on EURO by next year.. congrats..hopefully all others major nation will qualify and make the tournament great..

Yes, the most important thing is that they have qualified for the Euros. I think given the strengths of the two teams, I was surprised that England really allowed Montenegro back in the game. Rooney apparently has apologized to his team mates for his red card. Cheers! Ram
