Display at the Auschwitz Museum... http://en.auschwite.org.pl/m/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=931&ITemid=7 It will be there for 2 weeks before going to another location. Eventually they will be displayed in the US too. These prisoners risked their lives to do artwork on anything available, including a bit of tape. There is even a bracelet carved to depict scenes in the Lodz Ghetto. They did everything from pictures of the atrocities that they were enduring to fairy tales for their children. The Will To Live, Love, and Create Art in the midst of horror...Awesome!

That is an awesome story and certainly says something about the human spirit, and a sad report of domination, to say the least.. those atrocities, so sad as to be a part of human history, and experience!

If people could just admit to the horrors, then eventually they might be able to stop repeating them.

Thank you for telling us about this. I would LOVE to see that exhibit when it comes to the United States. In fact, I would even travel outside my state of Pennsylvania to get a look at it.
