I think never before two actors such as Viggo Mortensen and Elijah Wood could star together in an epic. I think Viggo is the best actor of his generation and Elijah's his. So the best scene should be theirs. I think Elijah's best acting was when he tells Sam he can't see the Shire because he sees the Eye with his waking eyes. That moment was so real, and he makes us see what he sees. Viggo's would be the epic "For Frodo" scene. He pass so many messages to us with one single look, in his voice. It was so real. What is your favorite acting scene?

Hmm, I think the 3 other "main hobbits" were better than Elijah Wood. He was very good at the looking stunned and/or falling over, but I think Billy Boyd was best of the hobbits. I think favourite acting scenes will be a bit influenced by who think is the best actor/best looking actor, as I think all scenes with Sean Bean are great :-) But best actor, definitly Ian McKellan. Not sure what scene is my favourite scene, maybe the ones where he talk to Pippin in Minas Tirith.

Oh yes, Ian. I might got the hots for Legolas, but the best actors for me was Aragorn, then Gandalf and Frodo together. Have you watched The Road? I think Viggo is the best actor of his generation, you can understand every single thing he is feeling because he acts so fine. He even would walk around with his Aragorn's sword, for 2 years while shooting Lotr as he wanted to be on carachter. He's an amazing guy, humble and all even though he became a star. Wich he didn't even want to become, he just did Lotr because his son was a hudge Aragorn and Lotr's fan and asked him to, so...a good father as well :D I might got the hots for Legolas, but I'm a hudge Viggo fan now, when I saw the kind of human he was.

No, didn't see The Road :-/ I saw Hidalgo, I liked it, but maybe not as much as one would expect from a horse-fanatic :-) Also, for some reason, one of the scenes I liked the least in the extended version was when Aragorns horse wakes him up. I like Viggo, I like horses, but that scene just didn't do it for me. Come to think of it, I'm not very often impressed by horse scenes. Is it in the first film that Arwen jumps a "fence"? "" because it is filmed to seem really impressive, and it isn't. I could have done that, and I'm terified of jumping (always liked dressage, show jumping's not my thing). Viggo seems really interesting though, he's into so many things, not just acting.

Yes not only he's a great person but he sees arts as a whole, he said that as a kid we don't go like: I sing, I paint and I write, no, we go there and feel like paiting so we do it, no one has to say we are good singers, we just go there and begin to sing. That movie of Viggo with Gwneth Paltrow that he is a painter, the paitings are his own. I love horses and all animals. I think Brego was the one threated with more respect because he was with Viggo and he also bought the horse when the movie was over. I hate them teaching tricks to animals, but Viggo made it a little better as he would sleep with the horse, not sleep, sleeeeeep (hahahaha) but be in the stable with him and created a bond. I thought it said a lot about who Viggo is by carring to bond with an Animal, no one else did it.
