Deepavali is India's biggest festival. It is the time when people buy lots of sweets, crackers and new clothes. It is also the season of gifting and getting back to family. From a shopping perspective this is the biggest shopping season in India. Which is the biggest festival in your country? What do people do during the festival? Cheers! Ram

i think here in the Philippines the countries biggest festival is "Panagbengan festival" in Baguio(the summer capital of the Philippines), its a festival of big flowers doing a parade you can eat lots of foods, drinking sessions, and you can ship souvenirs too. and many artist are there in festival to make a show like fashion show, they sing and dance. its so happy there, if you make it next year you can travel here in Philippines and join our festival.

Wow! This sounds something like Onam which is a big festival in one of the Indian states, Kerala. There also there are lots of foods and shopping etc. More importantly they put beautiful floral decorations and designs outside their houses. It is celebrated with a lot of plomb. Cheers! Ram

The biggest festival in Denmark is christmas, but many people also celebrate Easter and the children celebrate a local festival called Fastelavn. On Christmas Eve we eat the traditional christmas dinner which consists of roast pork, duck or goose, red cabbage and caramelised potatoes. The dessert is a dish called risalamande and that is a kind of rice pudding. In the rice puddding there is one whole almond and the person who finds it gets a small present. In Denmark we open the christmas presents on Christmas Eve (after the christmas dinner)

That's cool. In India usually in weddings we have a game that in a bowl of milk, a ring is put and the bride and bridegroom have to compete to find the ring. :) So the almond event looks similar. Cheers! Ram
