I have quite a collection of Christmas decorations I have made now, plus paint-by-numbers,and some needle work too. The painting is my favorite but I do want to learn more of the needle work too. I have done some gardening too and have many photo's our flowers and other plants here too. Plus many other tips and things I have learned over the years in these area's from Grandparents who where kind enough and patient enough to share all of this knowledge with there Grand children over the years now.

I can recall my grandmother trying to teach me to sew. Think she realized I was hopeless. She also taught me some piano and I did learn to play from watching her and then had lessons. She could also cook but I had no interest in the kitchen. I can't recall if my grandmother had any interest in knitting but I took up the art of knitting over the years and loved it. Most important I learned from my grandmother to be loving, caring and sharing. She was a terric grandmother and her heart was in the right place. Almost forgot that I learned the saying, "for Pete's sake" from her. Today other words are used...lol

hi:) since I was in primary til secondary my grandma was the one helping me to do my project at school, because mostly it's about knitting and some decorative stuff. I admire how patient she is teaching me those things.

When we were growing up, our house was just near our grandparents' (by my father side) house. But we weren't close to our grandmother because she's not close to us. But with my grandparents by my mother side, they were a darling. They were both so loving, taking us to places so we could swim and eat fruits in some plantations. They would let us have what we want in their store. It was sad though, that we have to transfer to our father's province where it is so far from them.

many interesting things can be learned from grandparents. it is important to know how to do them and be interested in what we show. I learned from my grandmother many traditions and customs which now perform on holidays and they are of great help to me. I think it is right because our grandparents lived and seen many things and we can learn from them. We can naparivme life very easy and very relaxed. Nice discussion. nice day!
