I did hear that he passed away over the weekend and I thought that it was rather sad that he didn't have the opportunity to really enjoy any of his life after his departure from 60 Minutes. However, I also know that since he was able to have 92 years of life, he pretty much had the opportunity to experience everything that he wanted to experience in his life. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Andy Rooney.

I did see his farewell interview/tribute and thought it was the same person. Sad to hear but he's done alot in his life and has lived a long life.

I can remember many a Sunday listening to 60 minutes because Andy was on and I enjoyed his comentaries so much. He really made me think of things I don't think I would have otherwise. He had quite a mind and interesting view points. Yes, he sure will be missed by this fan.
